The Art Museum is committed to supporting research and teaching on campus and virtually.
Digital Materials
The Museum’s online collections are always available, and images of objects selected for courses are available to download via Mirador, the online high-resolution viewer. The images can be shared on Zoom or another remote course platform.
Mirador allows users to zoom in to see details of thousands of works of art from across the collections. You can use this feature directly through the Museum’s online collections database by clicking on the object image. The Museum can also assist in preparing a selection of objects for view in Mirador.
Additionally, groups of objects from the Museum’s collections that explore specific themes from previous gallery installations and courses are available on the Museum’s website.

Class Visits and In-Person Appointments
Princeton University faculty and students may schedule course visits and individual appointments to view a selection of available works on paper and photographs from the Museum’s collections in the Firestone Library (A-1-C) classroom. Courses may visit Art@Bainbridge, a gallery project located at 158 Nassau Street.
